Wardrobe is a personal project run by Tom Karlo, offered free of charge. Using it means accepting what follows. It is short on purpose.
What this is
A tool for cataloging the clothes you own and getting AI-generated suggestions about them. Access is currently by invitation.
Your account
You sign in with Google, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share access tokens, and revoke any you no longer use from the Connect page. Any AI assistant you connect acts with your permissions until you disconnect it.
Your content
The clothing details and photos you add remain yours. You grant only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, display it back to you, and send the relevant parts to the AI provider when you use a feature that calls for it. Nothing you add is used to train models operated by this app, and nothing is published or shared with other users.
Only upload photos you have the right to upload, and don't use the service for anything unlawful or to attempt to reach another user's data.
AI output is a suggestion, not advice
Outfit recommendations, purchase evaluations, and style summaries are generated by a language model. They will sometimes be wrong, will sometimes misread a photo, and reflect no professional expertise. Treat them as a starting point. Any purchase you make — or don't make — on the strength of them is your decision alone.
Fair use
The AI features cost real money per request, so they are rate-limited. Automating them to run in a loop, or otherwise trying to exhaust them, will get your access suspended.
Availability
This is a personal project with no uptime guarantee. It may be slow, briefly broken, or changed without notice, and features may be removed. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose — an export can be requested at any time.
No warranty, and limited liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using Wardrobe whenever you like and ask for your account and data to be deleted by emailing wardrobe@karlo.org. Access may be withdrawn if these terms are breached, or if the project is simply wound down — in which case you'll get reasonable notice and a chance to export.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will reflect it, and significant changes will be communicated directly. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
